Why can't I list on realestate.com.au myself?
This site is restricted to licensed real estate agents that have a current subscription service. They do not deal directly with individual property owners.
How does the telephone extension system work?
When a potential tenant calls the 1300 number they are then prompted to enter a four digit extension code that is unique to your listing. The call will then divert directly to you, not via an off shore call center.
Why can’t I have my phone in the listing description?
realestate.com.au do not allow it, as they are only for agencies and agents they do not permit third party phone numbers.
What happens when my property is listed?
You will be sent an email that will contain a link to find your listing. When an interested tenant enquires about your property, you will instantly receive an email with their contact details. You will then begin the process of engaging your prospective tenants and establishing who is suitable to rent your property.
How long will my listing be active for?
Until your property is leased.
What happens when my property is leased?
You can log into your account and withdraw your listing. We will archive your details in our system, ready for use next time.
When will I be billed for my listing?
You will need to pay the one off listing fee of $99* (*includes GST) for your listing before it goes live via our secure credit card payment page. You will automatically receive a receipt for the credit card payment provider as well as a tax invoice from us that is marked as ‘paid’
Can I edit my listing?
Yes you can, once your listing is live you can log into your account and edit your listing.
How long from when I complete the listing form and pay, will it be before my listing is live?
We offer a same day service, and normally your listing is live within an hour or two.
